American Lutheran Preschool offers a unique four day school week (Monday-Thursday), with the 3's Class attending from 8am-11am and the 4's Class attending from 12:15-3:15pm.  Our preschool is staffed by a full-time licensed teacher, a teacher assistant, and a classroom helper volunteer.  We are also fortunate to have a collaboration with the Milbank School District to have Senior Cadets come into our classroom at least one classroom period in each of our class sessions.  In addition, a five person volunteer board meet monthly to oversee the financial, needs, and management of the preschool program.

The typical class size is 13 students per session.  Depending on the need or demand for the class, it may be adjusted under the discretion of the Preschool Board, with input from the lead teacher and staff.

American Lutheran Preschool strives to meet each child’s needs, offering the challenges to allow success and reach potential, and developing his or her special gifts.  Children are able to enjoy many engaging activities that are incorporated into weekly themes, in addition to other ways to stimulate the children’s learning.
Examples include, but not limited to:  Art | Math | Science | Christian Songs and Stories
Cooking Activities | Dramatic Play | Field Trips | Fingerplays and Songs | Gross and Fine Motor Development
Independence, self-motivation, honesty, kindness, & being a good friend to all are behaviors that are encouraged.

There is a $50.00 registration fee per year per child.
This cost covers your child’s placement in the respective class, school supplies, snacks for the year, and a t-shirt.

Monthly Tuition Cost: $150 per month with payment due on/by the 5th of each month.
