Peace Circle

At American Lutheran Church, an opportunity for fellowship and Bible Study is offered to the women of the church through Peace Circle.  Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month from Noon-1:00pm.

The Circle is a self-selected cluster of members who bond together in Christian love, who help to bear each other's burden, while sharing Bible studies, opportunities for food, fellowship, social activities, and community service.  A study lesson of the month is provided through the use of the Gather Magazine, WELCA's official magazine.  We have no formal WELCA meeting, but do the business of the women's group during Circle.

Our group organizes the food and craft sale (Mission Bake Sale) in the fall, with proceeds going to various missions.  We meet in the Spring and Fall with other WELCA groups in northeast South Dakota and learn what they are doing, along with the need for new projects too.  The school bags the members fill are sent to Lutheran World Relief for those in need around the world.

All are welcome to join us when you can, or if interested in another time, please let us know.

At this time, we would like to have twenty-four members (two per month), in which you may sign-up for one month a year. If interested, please contact Peg Dohrer or Karla Wellnitz for more information.
