With the changes to our ministry due to the current COVID-19 situation, we are providing virtual Sunday School lessons.  Check back weekly for updates!

September 13:  RALLY DAY SUNDAY!  Welcome to American Lutheran Sunday School! 
We are going to start the year off with online Sunday School!  By following along online and participating, Sunday School students will have the chance to earn weekly prizes! Lessons will be sent out on a weekly basis, and can be completed at home whenever it works for you!   Please watch Facebook, e-mail, and this website page for more information, links, and videos throughout the week!

September 20: Week One

Bible Story: The Sun Stands Still
Big Idea: God has power over all things, so we can battle our fear with faith.
Memory Verse: "I looked to the Lord, and he answered me. He saved me from everything I was afraid of." Psalm 34:4 (NIrV)

When you are ready to begin, start by watching the short lesson video with your kids.  It's a great way to engage spiritually with your family.   Don't forget to watch the worship video from Crosskid Nation as well.  (All materials listed below)

September 27: Week Two

Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this week: 
Bible Story: Solomon Builds the Temple
Big Idea: The Holy Spirit lives within the Church, so we should make meeting together our #1 priority.  But even when we can't meet in person, we can worship from home and be together in spirit.  We can be the Church in our homes and with our families.
Memory Verse: "And because you belong to him, you too are being built together.  You are being made into a house where God lives through his Spirit."  Eph. 2:22 (NIrV)

When it's time to begin, start your family worship by watching the short lesson video with your kids.  It's a great way to engage spiritually with your family.  After the lesson is over, choose a worship song from the playlist to sing with your kids!

Big Idea: Sin tears God’s people apart, so we should confess and turn away from our sinful desires.
