UPDATE ON YOUTH & EDUCATION DIRECTOR POSITION: At the 7/14/10 Church
Council Meeting the Youth & Ed Committee reported that due to both the current uncertainty surrounding our church’s affiliation with the
ELCA and the decrease in the congregation\'s budgeted giving that the committee will not be posting a job opening for the Youth & Ed Director position this summer. The Youth & Ed Committee will continue to monitor this issue and seek to fill this previously-approved full-time position when it seems most appropriate (hopefully by year-end, likely by this time next year). The Committee will continue to update the Church Council as to the status of its efforts and will ultimately seek Council approval prior to posting this open position. Until this position is posted and filled, Pastor Janine will assume the Youth & Ed responsibilities that were previously covered by Mike Haddican.
