BIBLE STUDY: We are looking at having a June Retreat on June 15 (Circle Day) with all circles meeting at the church together later in the day and into the evening. Pastor Janine will lead us in a Bible discussion and either a meal or refreshments served. Please check posters in church, bulletin board, and bulletins for more details. Then we could do Session 9 in July and if a circle met in August Pastor Janine will write a study.
JULY CIRCLES will meet on the 19th and will do Session 9.
MY THANKS to all ladies who helped with the Spring Tea, whether it was baking a pie (pies were delicious ), bringing flowers and decorations, helping set up and clean up, or just attending. Attendance for the tea was 125. Freewill offering was designated for the kitchen fund at Joy Ranch. Offering was $264.75.

MISSION PROJECT: Our mission project for April, May, and June will be the Midwife kits. Items needed are listed below and on the board in the church narthex.
ITEMS NEEDED TO MAKE MIDWIFE KITS: One 36” square muslin or sheeting (no hemming necessary), one regular size bath towel, one wash cloth, two cordties-8” lengths of selvage or ¼” twill tape, one bath– size bar of Ivory soap, one razor blade (single edge, safety, as from home
improvement store), one newborn stocking cap, one baby, cotton or flannel, short-sleeved shirt/kimono, one receiving blanket, one pair plastic or latex exam gloves — clean, not sterile, not kitchen gloves.
Check with your doctor or dentist. The items can be placed in the baskets by the WELCA board in the narthex. |
