WOW Volunteer Appreciation Day
The WOW committee will be hosting a volunteer appreciation day on
Wednesday, December 9th for all classroom teachers, Circle of Friends leaders, middle school and high school helpers, kitchen volunteers, music leaders, and otherspecial individuals that help make our Wednesday program run. We hope you can join us in the Fireside room from 3:30-5 p.m. for refreshments, apple cider, and holiday music as our way of saying thank you for making our program possible.
Middle School Youth Group Nights
Saturday, Dec. 13th 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 16th 5-10 p.m.
High School Youth Group Nights
Wednesday, Dec. 2nd 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20th 7:30-9:30 p.m.
and Sunday, Jan. 24th 6-9 p.m.
Stable Service
The middle and high school students will present the annual Christmas Stable Service on Sunday, Dec. 20th at 6 p.m. Weather permitting, we will be performing the stable service play at the 4-H grounds just south of the church.
• In preparation for the Stable Service, youth are encouraged to share any special music (vocal or instrumental) as a prelude or during the service.
• Parents of middle and high school students are needed to prepare snacks for after the Stable Service.
WOW and Sunday School Breaks
Our youth Sunday and Wednesday programs will be taking a break around the Christmas season, so please mark this dates on your calendar:
• No Sunday school on Dec. 27th
• No WOW on Dec. 23rd and 30th
Girls Night at NeSoDak
Who is welcome: 6th-8th grade girls
What: Lock In with games, worship, Bible study, and great food
Where: At NeSoDak Bible Camp
When: 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22nd – 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23rd
Parents and youth can talk to Mike for more information about the Lock In.
Camp Sunday
Are your kids thinking about summer camp through Lutherans Outdoors yet? The time has already come to think of camping, singing, and roasting marshmallows. Camp Sunday will be help on Sunday,
anuary 17th during the education hour. During this time, age groups from 1st grade up through 12th grade will be able to hear about camping opportunities. Also, the men of the congregation will be hosting the annual Pancake feed in the Fellowship Hall. All donations will go toward camp scholarships for the youth of our church. |
