PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the Advent Celebration on Sunday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. Advent carols, readings and music will be provided by the Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, Ministry of Music Singers along with the JOY Choir and Celebration Handbell Group from Emanuel Lutheran. Following the Advent Celebration, lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall. Would you be interested in decorating a table or furnishing a dessert? Please contact Carol Ydstie (432-5566).
The CHOIRS are working on music for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We would love to have you join one of the choirs as we prepare for these holidays. I am also looking for special music on some Sundays in November and December and Christmas Eve. If you have family members home from college or for the holidays, we would love to have them share their musical gifts. Please contact Carol Ydstie.
BELLS rehearse Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. They will share special music on All Saints Sunday, November 1.
CHANCEL CHOIR rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. They will share their gifts at worship on November 8.
MINISTRY OF MUSIC SINGERS will rehearse on Sunday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday, November 11 at 6:00 p.m. They will sing special music on Sunday, November 15.
ALLELU will rehearse on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 p.m. and will lead the 8:30 worship on Sunday, November 22.
GOD’S M & MS will sing a short song at the beginning of worship on Wednesday, November 11. Parents, please plan to stay, so the kids may have this opportunity of sharing a song that they have learned. |
