Several months ago Mary Mortensen, Director of Prison Congregations of
America, was a guest pastor at our church.While here she invited us to support her organization’s ministry by attending Prison Congregations of America’s Annual “Partners at the Cross” Celebration & Ingathering. The event will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Holiday Inn City Centre at 100 W. 8th St. in Sioux Falls. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m. A silent auction will be part of the evening as well as a short program following the dinner. The gathering is sponsored in part by Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans. A member of our congregation has purchased tickets for a table of eight and invites anyone interested in the support of this ministry to attend and represent American Lutheran. Please call the church office to reserve your ticket. |
