REMEMBER: We are not human beings going through a temporary spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience.
Our project for the months of July, August, and September will be the
School Kits. Items needed are spiral notebooks of ruled paper about
8 ˝ x 11” with 150-200 sheets of paper. NO LOOSE LEAF PAPER, 1 blunt scissor, 1 ruler, 1 pencil sharpener, 6 new unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers, 12 sheets of assorted color construction paper, 1 box of 12 or 24 crayons, and 1 cloth bag. The items can be placed in the baskets by the WELCA board in the narthex. BATH TOWELS ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED. The midwife kits will be assembled in the near
future and towels are still needed. Other items still needed are
receiving blankets and bath-size Ivory soap.
Our next circle meeting will be on Tuesday, September 15. 2009. Our new study for September is called “One For All: Experiencing the Exclusive Claim of Christ” by Rev. Steve King. It is a nine month
session and the suggestive donation cost will be $2.50 per person. Glory Circle is listed to bring cookies to either nursing home for the month of September. Remember your special friends and if
possible with a visit. Please check out the cards on the Card
shelf, Cards are great and more economical than elsewhere.
