Thank you to everyone for your loving concern for our family at the death of Craig’s mother, Christine Werling. We are overwhelmed by the number of cards and memorial gifts in Christine’s name that we have received. So many have taken the time to personally express their condolences and have let us know that we are in your prayers.
Two of her favorite ministries in Fort Wayne were Matthew 25, a health and dental clinic for the needy, and the Hospice where she died. She had volunteered at both facilities for a number of years. Your undesignated gifts will be given to both of these ministries and to American Lutheran church ministries.
When we face the death of loved ones, it is good to know that we are held up by God’s loving presence and the promise of the resurrection. You have made God’s presence real to our family, and we are grateful for your loving ministry to us in this time of grief, loss, and hope.
